Due to the uneven nature of the ground upon which agricultural machinery spends its working life, suspension and damping can be applied to a multitude of applications within agriculture. Trailer suspension, crop sprayer boom and animal feeder suspension systems are the most common uses for our rubber units, yet we are able to design solutions bespoke to customer specifications.
Crop Spraying
Damping can be extremely beneficial when heavy or sustained turning motions are experienced between a vehicle and the boom of a crop sprayer. Our rubber damping units help to alleviate this problem by providing shock reduction but remain contained within a unit which is small enough to fit in the, often limited, space available. Our rubber damper units are a cost effective solution which minimises wear and significantly increases the working life of the machinery it protects.
Animal Feeders
Our rubber suspension units offer superior ride quality and full-fill construction, meaning minimised risk of foreign matter ingress and therefore perfect for animal feeder environments. Combine these features with a maintenance free life and on-site support, our rubber suspension units provide the perfect hassle-free damping solution for animal feeder transportation.
Equipment Protection
Our semi bonded and fully bonded rubber suspension units can be engineered to bespoke requirements and this means not only changing the dimensions and specifications (splining, bonding etc.) of the unit, but also the density and characteristics of the rubber within. Our units can be engineered to a desired spring deflection capacity and their naturally low frequency offers good detuning of the often high excitation frequency within the units, meaning the machine structure and supporting elements remain protected from continuous and harsh vibrations.
Bespoke Engineering
We understand that the immense variety of layouts, components and configurations within the agricultural industry and a standardised solution is rarely one which is applicable to many situations. Various sizes of trailers, axle widths and load characteristics all dictate the specification by which an engineer must design, and that’s why we place such emphasis upon bespoke engineering of solutions – every problem is different. Our engineers will use our principle technologies and their expert knowledge to produce a solution engineered specifically for a customer’s requirements whilst being aware of environmental, mechanical and budgetary constraints.
