Wind down corner steadies can be used for levelling and supporting trailers, caravans, site huts, portable accommodation and other similar applications for periods of static use. Whilst corner steadies are double braced for side stability, and therefore can provide a secure footing when setting up and supporting a caravan, they should not be used as a lifting device (e.g. for changing a wheel). Our corner steadies are operated by the brace provided.
Our sliding jackstands provide an economic method of steadying and supporting the trailer structure during loading and unloading or when disconnected from the towing vehicle. To achieve maximum load capacities, all jackstands should be mounted vertically, usually at the back, where the destabilising force is experienced most. Our jackstands are adjustable in height by means of a clamp bracket through which the stand slides.
